- ER – two 2 week rotations or a one month rotation

PGY 2
|
- House Service – 3 months
- Hospitalist Service
- Critical Care/ Pulmonary
- Cardiology
- Gastroenterology or Hematology/Oncology
- Dispensary Clinics
- LAC-USC Subspecialties – 2 months. Resident will be assigned 2 services from the following options: Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Hematology, Infectious Disease.

- Community Clinics - 2 weeks
- Outpatient elective - 2 weeks. Resident will select from the following options: Dermatology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Hepatology
- Vacation

PGY 3
|
- House Service – 2 months
- Hospitalist Service
- Critical Care/ Pulmonary
- Hematology/Oncology, Hepatology or Gastroenterology
- LAC-USC electives – 2 months. Resident will be assigned two services from the following options: Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Hematology, Infectious Disease.
- Dispensary Clinics
- Community Clinics – 2 to 4 weeks

- Huntington Hospital Electives – Resident may select month long rotations from the following options: Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Palliative Care, Rehab Medicine
- Outpatient Electives - Resident will select 2 to 4 week rotations on ambulatory services from the following options: Hepatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, or personally arranged elective.
- Vacation

Categorical residents will complete the three-year curriculum.
Preliminary Residents will complete the PGY1 curriculum.
